AO Insurance Inc. ("AO Insurance," "we," "us") helps individuals and businesses with trucking and DOT filings, commercial truck insurance, financing applications, business formation, tax preparation, immigration form preparation, and Colorado and Denver sales tax licenses. Information we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, phone number, and, if you use our trucking or insurance services, your USDOT or MC number.
- Information you submit in forms: for example business names, owner names, vehicle year, make, model, and VIN, radius of operation, and the services you ask for.
- Documents you upload: for example W-2 and 1099 forms, bookkeeping records, sales tax filings, insurance declarations pages, driver's licenses, and immigration-related documents.
- Security records: when you sign in or try to sign in, we record the time, your IP address, and your browser type. We also record when our staff open or change your records.
How we use your information
- To provide the services you request and to communicate with you about them, including confirmation emails.
- To prepare and submit filings, applications, and quote requests on your behalf.
- To keep our systems secure, prevent fraud and unauthorized access, and investigate problems.
- To meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations.
Who we share it with
We share information only as needed to carry out what you ask us to do. Depending on the service, that can include insurance carriers and underwriting portals, third-party lenders you choose to apply with, and government agencies that receive the filings we prepare. Our service providers, such as our hosting and email providers, may handle information on our behalf. We may also disclose information when the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.
How we protect it
- Documents you upload are encrypted with AES-256 before they are stored.
- Only authorized AO Insurance staff can open uploaded documents. Every time a document is opened, we record who opened it and when.
- Staff accounts are protected with a password and a second sign-in step. Passwords are stored in scrambled (hashed) form, never in plain text.
- The website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
- Our emails to you never contain your documents or personal details, and we will never ask for your password by email.
No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you think your account has been misused, call us right away at 303-219-3900.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie that keeps you signed in. It is needed for the portal to work. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep information
We keep your information for as long as we need it to provide our services and to meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping requirements. After that, we delete it securely.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it or where we need them to complete work you asked for. To make a request, call or write to us using the contact details below. We may need to verify your identity first.
Children
Our services and this website are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
